Mac book Air has extremely hot on button

It does sound as if something's amiss here. Your keyboard shouldn't be getting "burning hot to the touch", as you described.

I would either contact AppleCare (it's still under warranty, I assume...less than one year old?) or, if it's a reasonable distance away, take it to the Apple Store and let a tech at the Genius Bar look it over.
