If you request a credit limit increase and it is approved, do you receive the increase immediately?
I requested one earlier, for the first time in a year, but have no response yet. The automated system just said I'd receive a letter letting me know the decision, within a week. I'm thinking this means the increase was not approved...? I imagine such would be automated and that you'd find out one way or another immediately. So strange. I've never had a SINGLE late payment on my credit report, and have always made multiple payments every month on my Apple Card, but never get near paying it off. But still, I'd think they'd increase it for perfect behavior otherwise. My 17 year payment history proves I'm not risky and I do not have a terrible credit score. From my research, it seems Apple Card prefers consumers who pay their balance in full each month. Which is strange...they make more money off of people like me who they get to charge interest to every month. LOL!
