Difficulty Updating While Connected to WiFi
I'm experiencing an issue where I can't install updates because the system is prompting me to connect to WiFi, despite already being connected. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Are you connected to or do you have a VPN installed? If so, try disconnecting from the VPN or disabling it before trying again. These connections can cause issues like the one you've described.
You may also want to try resetting your iPhone network settings: If your iPhone or iPad won't connect to a Wi-Fi network - Apple Support
"If you're using iOS or iPadOS 15 or later, tap Settings > General > Transfer or Reset [Device] > Reset > Reset Network Settings. Keep in mind, this also resets Wi-Fi networks and passwords, cellular settings, and VPN and APN settings that you've used before."
