Unblock Some Explicit Music

Is there any way that I can unblock or family share certain explicit songs while filtering the rest? I also don’t want to allow the ability for my kid to buy songs or look things up with excessive cussing. However, if there is a song that may say something once or that I vet ahead of time and allow I want to be able to give access to.

So how do I share 1 or 2 “explicit” songs while simultaneously keeping the age settings the same?

Hello ImGetting2Old4ThisGlitz,

That's a great question. As it turns out, the setting that controls explicit content is either on or off. More details can be found here: Use parental controls on your child's iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch - Apple Support

I think your only option is to see if there is a version of the song that the publisher has not marked as explicit. Many times a publisher will release a song that is marked explicit along with one that is not. The choice to restrict explicit songs on your iPhone is all or nothing and as previously stated, you can send a feature request to Apple.
