Apple Card as a college student?

Hi!

I’m a college student with a part-time summer job, and I was hoping to apply for an Apple Card (I have enough subs and other things that it makes sense to choose this route). However, when I applied, they told me my income was too low. I read other answers to other questions and they implied this wasn’t an issue. What can I do?

If the reason stated for declining your application was not enough income, the path forward is simple, make a higher income. If you’ve already opened several other accounts, you have probably exceeded an income to available credit level, where your income is insufficient for a higher overall credit limit. Another factor that enters into a lower than average income, is age of accounts. Your lack of credit experience will be a hinderance to extending you more credit.
