Apple Music family plan
When I add a family member to my Apple Music plan, do we all have our own playlist without sharing each others?

That is correct. Your Family Share group members cannot see your songs and playlists and you cannot see theirs. The same goes for photos, messages, and emails.
iOS 17 (coming this Fall), will allow you to co-author playlists though if this is a feature you’re looking for!
