How to increase font size in Duolingo app learning Chinese

Hope anybody can help me with this. I am learning Chinese and recently bought an iPad mini. The font of the Duolingo lessons is too tiny for me. I need a larger font. It does not help if I increase the font in the Accessibility option of the Settings. The font in the Duolingo app does not change using this option.
