Installer wants to access files

Installation program with popup: Installation program wants to access files on the desktop and 2 buttons 'do not allow' and 'OK'. I can't press these buttons, remains gray. I can't remove the popup unless restarting the Mac. With system settings - files and folders - I don't see an installer listed.

I am glad that it worked!

However, it should have worked without needing to use Safe Mode.

This suggests that something that loads in your Mac when booting normally is causing a problem.

My guess is that it may be some "antivirus" or "cleaner".
