I can hear everyone on zoom but they cannot hear me

When I am on zoom I can hear everyone but they cannot hear me for some reason. This just happened about a week ago.

Zoom audio/ microphone. Hi. I have a consistent issue when I am about to start a zoom meeting and have no mic or speakers recognised. I restart and this works fine after restart. any ideas what the problem is? I only do zoom maybe once or twice a week so somewhere in between the devices are stopping being recognised.
