That is just going to have to be a personal choice that only you can make. The repair costs for the iPhone SE are similar to that of a newer devices and there is no indication that it would require more or less service. If you prefer to have the piece of mind, then absolutely you would find it beneficial. Typical of any electronic device, some things can just happen that you have no control over.
