Why is apple maps still so horrible bad? There still are, after so many year of being the underdog, so many gaps. Even my own home cannot be found by Apple maps. And I wouldn't even care (I always use Google maps) if my apple calendar didn't use Apple maps. However, the "travel time" option useless because it usually fails to find the specified address.

Thanks for your reply. If you try to understand my complaint you will understand that my home address is just one of many examples. I'm not going to report all the shortcomings of Apple Maps till I am one of their employees. I use the provider that offers me the best.

If the Maps app cannot find your home or street you should report it to the Maps team.
I see you're on macOS so follow these steps:
Click the one that applies to you. Follow on screen instructions. After you submit, please wait a few business days (I think they say up to 90 days), for the Maps team to review the submission and add it to Apple Maps.
I've submitted a few reports to the Maps team and usually receive a response within two to three weeks with the updated changes.
No Maps applications is perfect. That is why as the users of the app we must report whenever we see errors so that they can be fixed.
I have had no problems in the past reporting issues to Apple Maps and the team usually resolves it within a matter of weeks not months. If you're not willing to report the issues you can't complain about them either. The Maps team can't be aware of every issue on every street in the world, it's impossible. That is why it's on us to report issues we find so that they can be resolved for other users as well.

That's an opinion and personally I'd rather not use a service that's tracking my every movement and selling it to advertisers / other third parties. I value security and privacy and I'm glad Apple has made products and services that allow me to be in control, not the app.
Your MacBook Pro should have Wi_Fi, Bluetooth, and Location services enabled. With those choices, Apple maps puts the blue dot in my front yard. It uses both wireless services to refine its location.
