How to make text boxes expand downward on Freeform

I tried using Freeform to take my Notes and i have a text block for every new day/chapter arranged in a row. Whenever i add new text, the text field expands both upwards and downwards, but i would like the text to only expand downwards. Is there any way to make the text boxes only expand downwards, so the row of text boxes stays nicely arranged, starts from the same height and always expands downwards?

Expanding only downwards is to me the intuitive way to expand a field, and i used Curio a lot for Notes but i really wanted to give Freeform a shot.
