This is usually a hardware issue and not a software issue. It may also be due to exposure to liquids so consider not using electric utensils if you're trying to repair it. If the problem doesn't resolve itself, consider contacting Apple's Help Support.
My iPhone X Face ID Don’t see why
This is generally a hardware issue. If the unit's on an OS version older than 16.5.1, you might be able to fix it by updating it from a computer or the Software Update function in Settings; otherwise, contact Apple Support.
