Wacom intuos CTH-480 doesn't work

I had the same problem, and I found that we need to install an old version of the dirver (Driver 6.3.46-2 macOS 10.14 - 12 116 MB 8/23/2022). Here is the link https://www.wacom.com/en-us/support/product-support/drivers?sku=CTH480 It worked for me. Good luck!

I got the same issue after updating the new Sonoma OS (from Ventura)

Unfortunately wacom officially dropped support for some older tablet models (including ctl480 and cth48) for macos 13 and above, meaning the only way those tables will work on macs with macos 13 or newer will be if someone makes an unofficial third party driver for those tablet models or if apple includes graphic tablet drivers supporting those models into the os, which most likely wont happen.

I bought a new Wacom CTL4100W and it works. Roll back to CTH-480 and it didn't work. I put it in the box and waiting for the update.
