latest version says up to date but it wont update past macOS Catalina version 10.15.7

I need to add microsoft 365 to my mac but it won't let me because I don't have the latest version of 11.0 Please help. It says my mac is up to date but it is not. I have tried restarting it, removing auto download and check marking it and still nothing works.

You need one of these Macs to upgrade to Big Sur 11.0 or later.

What Mac do you have?

Tell us the model name – including release date – from the About This Mac dialog in the Apple () menu. Based on that, we can tell you if it is possible to upgrade your Mac past Catalina.
