Is there a nickel free Apple Watch? I am highly allergic to nickel and I’ve been wearing a series 4 (metal case) for 4 years. It’s only the last 12 months I’ve struggled. Been wearing my watch on alternate wrists but now both wrists are sensitised and I can’t wear it anymore. I’m gutted. Love my Apple Watch!

The SE 2022 that I wear has a mostly nylon back with an aluminium surround. The article states that only the strap release buttons on that model are stainless steel and a suitable covering may be possible over the buttons such as a small piece of band-aid material that you may not be allergic to.
The article does not suggest that an anodised aluminium case contains any nickel.

If you purchase from Apple, there is a 14 day return policy.
If you purchase around Christmas the return policy tends to be longer, starting a few weeks before Christmas and ending 14 days after Christmas. The above link is updated when the extended Christmas policy is in effect.
If you decide to get an Apple Watch, keep the return policy in mind, so you can return it, within the return window, if you have a reaction. ESPECIALLY if decide to get one of the more expensive models.

I have read that aluminium and steel cases include nickel, I haven’t read anywhere about whether a ceramic case includes or excludes nickel.
As it took 4 years for my allergy to respond to my current aluminium/steel watch; I feel I need certainty with the ceramic watch.
