How do I open an .fcpevent file in FCPX 10.6.4

I have a project from 2014 that I desperately need to open in my current version of FCP. I have the .fcpevent file from the original project as well as the: Original Media, Render Files, Shared Items and Transcoded Media folders for this project. Please I can't seem to see a pathway from inside FCP. I need this for a college class I'm teaching.

Thanks.

It’s not in a library? If the file is only currentversion.fcpevent it can be either a project or an event; they use the same extension. Could you post a screenshot of what you have? I don’t think there is any way to resurrect it, but you might be able to rebuild a library with what you have.

It looks like the contents of one event. The project is called LKT Edit. Was the event called LKT?

Try making a new library. Name the event in it LKT and close the library. Open the library contents by right clicking on the library. Remove everything in LKT event and replace it with a copy of everything you showed in the screenshot. At the top level of the package is a .flexolibrary file. Move that to the trash. Double click the library and see if it opens.
