Credit card due date

Everything online says apple card payments are due the last day of each month, but when I check my card it always says the payment is due at the end of the next month. (It’s April 2nd right now, my card says my payment is due May 31st)

Is this wrong or just really confusing wording? I feel weird just not paying my April card balance until the end of May. I feel like I would definitely miss a payment or something.

Towards the end of March, it said that my payment was due April 30th. I paid it off anyway when a different card’s bill was due, and the apple payment due date changed to the end of May. Are they only telling me when it’s my absolute last chance to pay or is my bill really not due until the end of the next month? Am I only paying the previous month’s balance at that time or do I pay for 2 months worth of charges?

Anything that you charge on your card from July 1-July 31 is due on August 31. If you continue to make charges August 1-31, and you do not pay your bill until your due date, your balance will increase but the amount due on August 31 remains only those charges made in July (plus any interest if you didn't pay in full the previous month). The charges made August 1-31 will be due September 30.
