Start by trying the SMC reset:

Reset the SMC of your Mac - Apple Support


If that does not work, try the NVRAM:

Reset NVRAM on your Mac - Apple Support


These are only available on the Intel Mac, which is what I assume you have.

Yes. You have written that before. That you have a MacBook Pro that appears to be running, but that the Touch Bar, and the Power Button are not responsive.


You will want to press and hold the power button for ten or fifteen seconds, and let us know if ghat forces a hard shutdown. If the display screen does go black, wait about ten seconds, and then quickly press the power button to try restarting the Mac.


If that does not resolve this, contact Apple Support using the Support link in the lower left corner of this webpage, and chat or call Apple as available.
