Gifting my iTunes balance to another user or my main account.
I redeemed a gift card but it was for itunes. I dont plan to buy anything on itunes. I was a thread that said to call apple and they could help.
i tried calling apple support to
try and transfer the iTunes balance to my main apple account or back to a gift card
but i was told that wasn't possible.

You can't redeem or return Apple Gift Cards, App Store & iTunes Gift Cards or unused Apple ID balance for cash, except as required by law. If your jurisdiction allows the refund of redeemed gift balances, you can contact Apple Support to request a refund.
When you contact Apple, include the following information:
• Your Apple ID.
• The refund amount.
Your current delivery address.
