My photos are slowly disappearing from my photo stream and iCloud. This morning all photos from 2023 disappeared from both. I have plenty of room on my device and in icloud. Photos that I took yesterday appeared in my photo stream and I cloud. This morning none of them appeared in the photo stream or icloud. The we're gone as well as all photos from 2023.

Be aware that the very old My Photo Stream service is being closed-down by Apple - as announced some months ago. All users of the Photo Stream service will have been notified via email of the steps necessary to preserve your photos prior to their deletion:

All photos that are stored within iCloud Photos will continue to be available to you. If you haven’t done so already, you can enable iCloud Photos for your iPad from settings:
Settings > [Your Name / AppleID] > iCloud > Photos > Sync This iPad - set to ON
