External drive not mounting - error 49244

After updating my OS to 12.6.7 one of my external drives, specifically my TimeMachine drive wont mount.

The TimeMachine drive is just one partition of the external drive, the other partitions load fine.

Disk Utility sees the drive, but it's greyed out and if you ask it to mount it gives this error

Could not mount “TM”. (com.apple.DiskManagement.disenter error 49244.)

Disk Utl can also give this info on the drive:

File system : Mac OS Extended (Journaled, Encrypted)

Writable : No

Can be verified : Yes

Can be repaired : Yes

Ejectable : Yes

Mac mini, macOS 10.12

I have a 2tb Crucial x10 drive that would not mount to my MBP M1, with 400g of a media project I could not lose. So I plugged the Crucial ssd into my windows 11 pc and it said cannot read drive, but had a pop up that said, would you like to fix?' so I clicked yes and then it fixed it and said drive works again and I didn't loose my data. APPLE PLEASE INTEGRATE THE SAME FEATURE.
