I bought extra storage and now it says my storage is full

It is not possible to buy more storage for an iPhone; it will never have more than it did when you bought it. What you bought is iCloud storage that is used for backing up and also for syncing to other devices. iCloud+ has 2 independent functions. iCloud backups, and iCloud sync. It’s confusing because they both have the same name prefix. But they have no connection with each other. Go to Settings/[your name]/iCloud. You will see a bunch of switches (with iOS 16 also tap Show All). When you turn on a switch that data type will sync to iCloud. If you do this on multiple devices that share an Apple ID the selected data will sync to all of those devices. 

You can also turn on iCloud Backups. This will back up your phone every night if the phone is plugged in, connected to Wi-Fi and locked.

But note that anything that you sync by the first method will be excluded from the iCloud backups.

I suggest you all do the same if possible AND WATCH ALL YOUR ACCOUNTS THAT APPLE.COM HAS ACCESS TO THEY TOOK ME FOR $69.00 in NOVEMBER ALONE ON ONE OF MY CREDIT CARDS AND CHARGED ME $.99 AND $10.96 ON ANOTHER CREDIT CARD AND THE SAME AMOUNT ON MY OTHER CREDIT CARD SO I CALLED APPLE AND HAD THEM BAN EVERY SINGLE CARD I HAVE AND DID THAT ON DECEMBER 18, 2023… AND ON DECEMBER 26, 2023 APPLE TRIED TO CHARGE MY PAYPAL ACCOUNT FOR ITUNES AND IT DECLINED APPLE.. I LET PAYPAL KNOW WHAT APPLE HAS BEEN DOING TO MY ACCOUNTS AND THEN APPLE TOOK IT OFF ONE OF MY BANNED CREDIT CARDS!! THEY ARE THEIVES AND THEY ARE PROMOTING AND CHARGING CUSTOMERS FOR THE NEW BINGO AND SLOTS AND BUBBLE POP GAMES AND WE ARE TOLD WE ARE WINNING ACTUAL CASH AND THEY HAVE YOU DRAW CASH FROM YOUR BANK OR CASH APP FOR TRANSFER FEES AND TAXES AND NO ONE HAS GOT A DIME THEY ASKED FOR $7.99 TO TRANSFER FUNDS TO MY CASH APP AND I DID AND THEN THEY ASKED FOR THE TAXES TO BE PAID AT $9.99 AND CHARGED ME $19.99 TWICE!! NOT $7.99 and $9.99!!! NOOOOO THEY CHARGED MY BANK ACCOUNT $19.99 TWICE AND I STILL HAVE NO $$ IN MY CASH APP ACCOUNT IF YOU WANT GO TO THE APP STORE AND LOOK UP BINGO CASH OR BINGO GARDEN AND LOOK AT THE COMMY!!
