i cant get my phone recovery key i never set one ?

my phone keeps saying i have a recovery key i never put one now i cant have access ??

iPhone 14 Pro, iOS 16

When you set up two factor authentication, you've been sent a recovery key. If you've lost it, you can use your apple id to generate a new recovery key

Go to your Apple ID account page online, sign in with your username and password, go to security> click edit,>replace lost key
