Family Sharing and Payment Options, under and over 18 year old kids

Hello! I have a family account with my kids and one of them (over 18 college student) wants to use her own payment method so she doesn’t have to get purchases approved. I don’t want to turn off payment method sharing for the family as I have an 8 year old for whom I want to approve purchases. How can I accomplish this?

Family Sharing - Adult and minor payments method? Currently there’s 3 members in the iCloud family. Me, my wife (The organizer )and our 15 years old son. We want to set up the share payment so he can pay for some apps he need in for school (Studying abroad) using my wife’s card.
