my ipod touch wont connect to my wi fi.

My wifi is listed and i have the right password. I already restarted everything, reset my network and reset my ipod but still cant connect to my wifi router. What could be wrong? Is it possible that my ipod touch is not compatable with my router>. Is there anyway to use it or update it ? Any info would be appreciated

The only way that your iPod would not be compatible with your router is if it is an older model that only can detect a 2G wi-fi signal and your router is set for 5G only. If so, turn on 2G on your router and see if it works.

I am having the same problem with my iPod Touch, which I bought in 2017. I even created a 2G Wi-Fi, but when prompting me to put my password, it tells me that it is unable to connect. In my case, I have no options to request or click on Forget this Network. Please help!!!!
