Hey there Stickyricky420,

Thanks for reaching out to the Apple Support Communities.

To get started, are you attempting to add the songs to your playlist using the steps shown in this link here: How to create a playlist in the Apple Music app - Apple Support

How to create a new playlist on your iPhone, iPad, or Android
1. Open the Apple Music app.
* On your iPhone or Android, tap Library, tap Playlists, then tap New Playlist.
* On your iPad, scroll to the bottom of the sidebar and tap New Playlist.
2. Give your playlist a name, then tap Add Music.
3. Tap the music that you want to add.
4. On your iPhone or iPad, tap Done. On your Android, tap The checkmark icon on Android .

If so, what happens when you try to add a song to your playlist? For example, do you get any particular alerts or errors?

Lastly, do you have an Apple Music subscription? If so, is Sync Library enabled on your iPhone in Settings > Music? If not, try enabling this setting and adding songs to your playlist again. For more details on Sync Library and how to turn that on, check out this next resource: Use Sync Library to access your music library across your devices - Apple Support

How to turn on Sync Library on your iPhone or iPad
1. Make sure that your iPhone or iPad is signed in with the same Apple ID that you use with your Apple Music subscription.
2. Go to Settings.
3. Tap Music.
4. Turn on Sync Library.
5. Turn on Sync Library on your other devices.

Keep us updated on the results.

Take care!
