When i buy apple care+

When i buy apple care +, what do i pay 20$ for? I’m thinking about buying apple care + for my apple tv for 20$. But it dosen’t say if it’s for 12 months, 3 years or 2 years. Any answers to this?

Is it worth it?

Purchase AppleCare+ with your new Apple TV.
Or buy it within 60 days of your Apple TV purchase:

- Online
- At an Apple Store (inspection of Apple TV and proof of purchase are required)
- By calling 800-275-2273 (requires you to provide proof of purchase)
