iTunes is taking over 5 minutes to open. I have a high performance windows 11 computer with an SSD, 32 GB of RAM and an i9 Intel processor. Why does it take so long for iTunes to open? Lately, iTunes is taking an extremely long time to open on my fully updated Windows 11 PC. It takes over 5 minutes to open. All other programs on my computer open with 30 seconds. iTunes never used to behave this way. Is anyone else noticing this?

iTunes for Windows version 12.13.3.2 hangs regularly Hello, The current version of iTunes for Windows 12.13.3.2 also hangs regularly. This problem has now existed for at least a year and a half and each new version cannot solve the problem. If you search specifically here in the forum, you can follow the various postings about all previous program versions. Sometimes nothing happens for days and sometimes - like today - the program hangs as soon as you start it. This is very annoying and extremely irritating. I ask myself: why doesn't Apple manage to solve this problem? Greetings from Germany Rainer :)

The general troubleshooting advice when iTunes fails to install properly (and reinstalling or repairing it does not work) is to remove not only iTunes but all related components, reboot, remove the target installation folders and reinstall.
