Identifying Apps purchased with another Apple ID on different Apple ID host device.

I purchased a new Ipad. Did side by side Ipad Transfer. As part of start up process I had to enter a password for my sons Apple ID to progress. I assume this relates to historical App purchases he made on my device. (Son now grown up with own devices and Apple ID, same one).

I seek to identify what apps on my Ipad have been purchased using his Apple ID so I can delete/ un install them. If I still want the app I can set up again with my own Apple ID. I seek to resolve this to maintain the privacy and integrity of my adult son’s Apple ID.

Any assistance appreciated.

regards

Hello Damostjr,

Thank you for reaching out in Apple Support Communities. You can review the purchase history for paid and free apps to help determine which apps were downloaded using the Apple ID account. Here's how:

Find information about older purchases

If you can't find an item in your purchase history at reportaproblem.apple.com, check the purchase history in Settings on your iPhone or iPad. Or check the purchase history in Account Settings on your computer.

On your iPhone or iPad
1. Open the Settings app.
2. Tap your name, then tap Media & Purchases.
3. Tap View Account. You might be asked to sign in.
4. Tap Purchase History.
iPhone showing the Purchase History menu option in Settings.
5. Your purchase history appears. Tap Last 90 Days, then select a different date range.

These steps can help and is outlined here: View your purchase history for the App Store, iTunes Store, and other Apple media services - Apple Support

Kind regards.
