I'm trying to turn on 'Find My Mac' for my new MacBook.
When I turn it on and click 'Done', the change in settings isn't reflected.
Any advice on how to fix this? I've already tried restarting the computer. Didn't work.
Using Mac OS Ventura 13.4.1.

Just wanted to update that I've solved the problem.
For anyone else who deals with this issue, try this:
Sign out of your Apple ID through System Settings on Mac, then sign back in. You'll be asked a series of questions and one of them will be if you want iCloud and Find My Mac to be linked. Confirm this, then it will ask you to enter the password for your Mac. Solved the issue for me no problem.

Requires the same AppleID...
Try signing into https://icloud.com and see if you can make any progress.
I only have one AppleID.
This website allows you to view your devices and erase them, but doesn't seem to allows the ability to add new devices.
The issue is more of a System Settings problem with macOS Ventura. iCloud needs to turn on access to the Find My app, but it simply won't reflect the change after 'Done' is hit.
Just wanted to say THANKS for this...I spent a couple of hours on chat w/ three different Apple advisors, who had me do a workaround by creating another user and then turning it on through that new user, which was dumb. I don't like dumb, so kept searching this topic, and ^^^ that worked!
