My mother gave me her Apple Watch and her phone won’t let the watch unpair. She went into the watch app to unpair it and it told her I needed to hit erase all on my end. I have hit erase all and reset about 12 times and the watch won’t erase or reset. It says it is unpaired on her end but it won’t reset on my end and It won’t even let me shut the watch down. Any advice?

How to prepare a watch for a new owner:
You may want to check that the Watch / WatchOS and iPhone/ iOS are compatible:
(Eg: Seems that generally they both need updating to the newest compatible OS version in order to pair)
The newest WatchOS is WatchOS 9.
