Here's Dell's description of the monitor:
https://www.dell.com/en-us/shop/dell-ultrasharp-27-4k-usb-c-hub-monitor-u2723qe/apd/210-bdpf/monitors-monitor-accessories
It's a 27-inch monitor, with UHD 4K (3840x2160 pixel) resolution, an IPS panel, 100% coverage of sRGB, and 98% coverage of DCI-P3. Multiple interfaces, including HDMI, DisplayPort, and USB-C (DisplayPort Alt Mode).
I believe connecting a good-quality USB-C to USB-C cable between the appropriate USB-C upstream port on the monitor (consult the manual), and one of the USB-C (Thunderbolt 3) ports on your MacBook Air, would
- Carry 4K video to the monitor,
- Carry up to 90 watts of charging power to the 15" M2 MacBook Air, and
- Make it so that you could use the monitor's downstream USB-C (USB data) and Ethernet ports – without having to run a separate data cable from the computer to the monitor
The monitor comes with a USB-C to USB-C cable in the box that will presumably do the trick.
You could also use a USB-C to DisplayPort adapter cable, or a USB-C to HDMI adapter cable, and that would take care of video, but nothing else. Here, USB-C to USB-C sounds like the way to go.
