Everytime I open WhatsApp, I can’t use it, saying that my storage is full and that I should clear at least 50MB of space on my iPhone’s storage even though I have 30GB of storage left on my phone and 40+GB of storage left on my iCloud. Please help.

This is the storage that WhatsApp provides. You manage their storage through the settings in the App. It has nothing to do with your iPhone or iCloud storage.
