My Bose Connect won’t slide into pair mode.

is there a way around the problem that my Bose Connect won’t slide into pair mode? It recognizes the existence of my QC 35 headphone, but doesn’t respond to the sweep right instruction.

Seems there is some support available on the Bose website ... (but is for my country, rather than yours, unless ...)

(Mentions the Bose Connect app for adjusting setting from mobile device ?)
