how do i change the input device in facetime from my beats mic to the built in microphone in my phone

Can you please clarify; are you wearing your Beats during your FaceTime call? The reason we ask is because the audio device you're using will be the only option if there is a microphone available on your headphones. There isn't a way to choose just using the Beats speaker and not the microphone.

Yeah, I have the same issue, since my wide spectrum is always unavailable I want the people I'm on the phone with to hear what I hear and my phone has the best quality mic. I know that changing the input of the mic is possible because when I unknowingly bought fake Airpods, it would say my iPhone mic was better than the fake Airpods and would ask me to change input while the output still being my Airpods. The prompt appeared from the mic, so do I need a bad mic to recreate this?
