Strange shadow randomly added to a wallpaper
Hi, I love the wallpaper feature in iOS 16 and have created probably nearly 100 wallpapers. Recently, after I finished creating a new wallpaper I noticed that once I selected that to be my wallpaper, there was some strange shadow on it. It wasn’t like a shadow under words, it was just randomly throughout the wallpaper (see attached screenshot). It looked as if my phone screen was messed up but it wasn’t. I went back into edit mode and the shadows went away. I can’t seem to figure out why it looks fine in edit mode but not when it’s actually being used. Please look at the screenshots. Has anyone else encountered something like this? (By the way I’ve tried removing all the widgets and that didn’t help so they’re not causing it. I’ve also tried zooming in and that doesn’t help. The text you see on the wallpaper is apart of the actual wallpaper, I downloaded it online. I also tried screenshotting my wallpaper and using the screenshot instead of the original wallpaper which had the same shadow. However, strangely, when I would screenshot my Lock Screen settings where the wallpaper looks fine (see below) and set that screenshot as a wallpaper, there was no shadow)
