Bought this watch a week ago. Last night the battery was completely dead, put it on the charger it came with with the 20watt brick. Woke up this morning to the watch blinking the Apple logo. 5 seconds logo 5 seconds off. The watch was extremely hott. I tried doing a hard reset, did not work. Who knows how long it had been doing this but after about 30 min of messing with it, the screen went blank. Will not turn on or show that it’s charging. Any help?

Your best option may be to make an appointment at the Genius Bar in an Apple Store near you and let them look at it:

Apple support recommended sending it in. They said they had never heard of this issue. Find that hard to believe after reading a few other post with the same issue
