Were you ever able to figure this out? I have the same issue. I’ve tried everything. I’ve been trying for years, now. Case on, case off, charging over night, different phones, iPads... I always update my iPhone software the day it gets released. My MagSafe charger version stays at 174.0.0.0 no matter what. Maybe my MagSafe charger is older hardware or something?
