Did you create the shared album? If so, do you want to remove them from the shared album or just add them to a regular album?

If you only want to add the photo(s) to a regular album then just drag them from the shared album into the regular album. They will be in both places.

If you want to "un-share" the photo(s) then remove it from the shared album by selecting it and using the Delete key. That will remove it from the shared album but no from the library. Then find the photo in your library and drag it into the album you want it in.

If you didn't create the shared album you'll have to first save the photos in the shared album to your library and then add them to the album of choice.

When you created the shared album did you delete the photos from your library? If not they should still be there and can be used in a regular album or whatever.

If you don't have the originals in your library have you tried to Control (right) - click on one of the photos in the shared album and select Import?

See if that will import the photo back into your library. It won't be the full sized version as all photos are limited/resized to 2048 pixels on the long edge if bigger.

Makes PERFECT Sense! Unfortunately it does not work. Yes, I created the Shared Album (along with a Shared Library) so that my wife and I could have access to all the photos either one of us took on our Mediterranean Cruise. It worked perfectly.

Now, I want to create a Slideshow from the photos which, apparently cannot be done directly from the Shared Album.

So, I created a new album under My Albums and attempted to drag the photos from the Shared Album into the Regular Album I just made...No Luck!

The Error Message reads as follows... "The operation could not be completed. (PHAssetExportRequestErrorDo-Main error 0.)"

Any suggestions?

I have the same problem. I wanted to create an iMovie with a few pictures, so I created a shared album swith all the images I liked. Now they are copied in the shared album but I cant access the shared album from iMovie and neither does there seem to be an option to easily move the pictures from a shared album to a regular one.

Any solution found yet - I'd be more than happy to get some help.
