My phone is showing no service what should I do?? And why is my software update verification failing

If you see No Service, Searching, or SOS on your iPhone or iPad - Apple Support
"And why is my software update verification failing"
Because you need both a WiFi and cellular service to update wirelessly. If you want to update wirelessly, you need to get the No Service issue fixed first.
You can always update using a computer.
