Cannot sign in to iCloud on iPhone (error 34608)

Context: I was worried that the password and email I used for my apple id might be leaked due to a plugin I used on chrome browser, so I reset my password and my apple id email.

Issue: After then, I logged out from iCloud on my phone and could not sign in again with a notification "Your Apple ID 'ID' could not be used to sign in to iCloud. (34608)"

What I've tried: I've checked your official help page "If you can't connect or sign in to iCloud - Apple Support" and it was completely useless. I also scanned through other threads on this forum and still cannot find any usefull sollution at all (literally every reply were suggesting to read the above link which is just useless).

Please help!

Hey there!

Just to confirm, you can now sign into Appleid.Apple.com, but NOT at iCloud.com, OR your Settings, and the error is, “Your Apple ID could not be used to sign into iCloud”?

If this is the case, and the same happens on other devices you use, I’d contact Apple Support here:

Contact Apple for support and service - Apple Support (NG)

One other thing that is really wierd:

So eventhough I've changed my appleid password (inside iPhone setting, and further confirmed that the password is indeed changed on https://appleid.apple.com/), but whenever I try to log in my apple ID (in browser and in setting), I cannot use the new password to sign in and can only use the old one.

I need to know whether will this situation change after certain time or would it stay like this - as mentioned before, the old password is likely leaked!
