Ask to Buy Requests going to wrong device

I have an IPad and an IPhone. I’m signed in with my Apple ID to both. I’m only receiving ask to buy requests on my iPad and not my iPhone. I need to receive them on my iPhone. Don’t care if they come to both but really need to receive on my iPhone. I use both devices but don’t always have my iPad with me. Couldn’t find any answers to help with this issue.

If Ask to Buy isn't working, read the suggestions in the document: If Ask to Buy isn't working - Apple Support about looking for the request in Messages or Notification Center.


Make sure notifications haven't been disabled. This article discusses notifications: Use notifications on your iPhone or iPad - Apple Support

Make sure the software is up to date on all devices involved.


Sometimes it helps to have the devices involved take a fresh look at settings:

● Try signing out of accounts and back in again.
