MacBook Air can't connect 2 additional monitors.

I just purchased the 13-inch MacBook Air with M2 chip and I cant seem to get 2 additional monitors to connect. they both connect separately, but not together to make a 3rd screen. I have tried the many trouble shooting options but nothing seems to work.
