Touch id doesn't response occasionally on Macbook Pro M1

I've been using the new MacBook Pro M1 for a week now, but unfortunately, the touch ID is not consistently responding to unlock my device. It occasionally works, but most of the time there is no response. I have tried setting up different fingerprints, but even then, the touch ID doesn't seem to work. It appears to be non-functional. Can you please explain why this issue is occurring?

note— There are a few instances where Touch ID will not be accepted by macOS:


• If you restarted your Mac, or if you're not logged into your user account.

• If you have not unlocked your Mac for 48 hours.

• If you are trying to unlock Security & Privacy

• If you are trying to unlock Users & Groups Settings (when FileVault is on)

• If 5 wrong fingerprint attempts
