Ive been using chess for long time and just recently it’s stopped working all it does when I open the application is immediately go to full screen, wait approx 3 seconds while showing the rainbow wheel then quitting and giving me a notification that it has unexpectedly crashed/quit.
I tried shutting down and restarting but it hasn’t worked
MacBook Pro 13″, macOS 13.4
Select then copy the following line…
~/Library/Containers/com.apple.Chess/Data/Library/Preferences/com.apple.Chess.plist
then, while in the Finder press command shift G
Paste into the window that opens then press return
Delete the com.apple.Chess.plist file
See if Chess opens normally.
