M2 pro Mac mini sleep issue

The display on the display screen goes black and then it takes about ten minutes fiddling about with all of the connectors and cable to revive any control. The keyboard also freezes, then the mouse, this happens when the computer goes into sleep mode, it is really annoying considering Mac Mini is only just over a month old. If I contact tech support at Apple I will be fobbed off with the excuse that the hardware is third party, and nothing will be resolved. You would think Apple would have tight quality control to avoid this type of issue. My Mac Mini is M2 Pro, with 1TB SSD and 16BG RAM.
