External Headphones Microphone not Working

Hi, I am facing an external microphone issue on my iPad Air 4 Wi-Fi 256 GB . Whenever I connect my Logitech (model: H151) through Apple USB C to3.5mm Jack Adapter with my iPad the volume of its microphone input is very low even if I speak to it very near it is barely understandable . The microphone works fine on Skype, Discord or whenever there is a call sign on the top right of the iPad.

But the issue remains during In game voice chat or while using the Voice Memos app to record a voice note.I tried contacting Apple support and did everything , even restored the iPad through iTunes but still the issue persists.

(Also tried using different headphones )

Please help me in this regard.

Hello AbdullahAhme,

Thanks for posting in the Apple Support Communities. We're happy to look into this with you.

We understand that you're experiencing issues with the microphone output volume when using it for live game chats and VoiceMemo. Just to clarify, do you experience the same issue if you're just using the iPad microphone for those activities?

What's the iPadOS you're currently using? If there are any updates available, it would be a good idea to install them, after creating a backup. This may be the best solution to resolve this issue.

  1. How to back up your iPhone or iPad with iCloud - Apple Support
  2. Update your iPhone or iPad - Apple Support

Once the iPadOS is updated, be sure to check your apps for updates as well and install them.

Best regards.
