If your phone isn’t working right, try re-starting it / check whether you re-established the connection.:
Restart your iPhone - Apple Support
If you haven't already: Try updating your iOS version to the latest version (ie: iOS 16.5)

If your phone isn’t working right, try re-starting it / check whether you re-established the connection.:
