H.264 video codec not supporting in AV Player

We are trying to play a H.264 codec video file in AV Player and the video has a green color overlay on a part of the video. The same issue is happening in QuickTime Player too.

Video File Details:

Codec: H.264

Resolution: 4096x864

.h264 videos green In the last week all MP4 .h264 videos are showing as green. MOV files play as do .h265 files however everything that is .h264 plays with green video but the audio is fine. The files aren't corrupted as they play fine on other devices. While this happens in QuickTime it's the same on all applications such as VLC or Davinci Resolve. This was also affecting HTML5 videos on the web but I've turned off hardware acceleration and they work fine. It appears to be something related to the hardware. Quicktime not playing mp4 Hello, I have a problem with Quicktime that it won't play sometimes videos. The videos formats are .mp4 and .mov codeced by h264 mpeg-4 avc / h265. The videos are from a security cameras so it's not reccording audio (to save storage on the servers). I had to install MKPlayer to resolve this, Although it's playing just fine with MKPlayer, MKPlayer doesn't support fast playing as Quicktime does, which I need for my work purposes. I have to mention that my co-workers are dealing with the same problem running .mp4 / .mov videos with h264 & h265 codecs on their Iphones (11 & 13, ios - 16.2). when they're trying to watch a video via Whatsapp / Telegram it opens a white screen and won't play the video at all. If there's any fix for it (for my macbook, and my co-workers Iphones), it would be wonderful. edit: I attached a screenshots to show the video details as appear with "get file info" for an example. QuickTime does play this video. Quicktime doesn't play those:

imovie yellow and black bars instead of videos? When I try to import some video clips into imovie instead of the video I get large black bars striped across a yellow background. Any idea what’s causing this or or to change? The video clips are fine to watch in the photos app and appear fine in the side screen to import into imovie.
